MARVEL GROUP, established in 1988, is active in the areas of
shipping, industry, mining, construction and foreign trade.
Shipping is the main activity of our group, with a dry bulk fleet of
21 vessels and total of 673.000 DWT, trading all around the world
under the Marvel flag.
In addition to the construction activities, the production of
polyethylene, mining and exporting of pumice stone, the
representation of Liebherr ship cranes in Turkey, import and export
of construction materials, are other areas of our activities.
On the eve of our 20th year of establishment, the message of our
founder Levent Karaçelik summarizes the basic philosophy of our
group in the best way:
“We are proud not to have one single arbitration or court case after
operating over 2500 vessels as trip or period or voyage charterers
in 11 years.”

As, Mel Yapı Malzemeleri A.Ş. we are importing plywood (plywood
for concrete forming) of Russian origin, produced as per GOST
3916.1-96/FSF MARK norms with the most contemporary technique of
the world, the A.P.S. Automatic Peeling System, Precise Patching
(automatic patching and cutting of the snag) and Sewing (sewing
of the papels together with the aim of avoiding the holes and
the overlapping of the layers).
With its multi-layered structure and the placing of each layer
with inverted and straight side depending on the work forms is
the most appropriate production method for the definition of
PLYWOOD STRUCTURE. The large number of layers present the
required homogeneity; and naturally increases the endurance
proportionally. |

Although birch wood has a high density
among other kinds of wood (740 kg/m3), with the advantage of
medium hardness, is the strongest and most durable wood
among other kinds of wood species. Although its moisture
varies in the environment used, the fact that the amount of
moisture can be kept constant is one of it’s most important
characteristics. By combining the hardness and durability
presented by Birch, the flexible structure that can take any
form required is protected, and a durable form is provided.
With its flexible structure against possible blows and
damages, it presents the requested resistance and endurance.
Therefore while its ability to take the form required is
protected, its countless use without deformation is also
being protected. |
